Mai Mai Ho is an immigrant from Hong Kong who speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and Toishanese. Ms. Ho received her Master of Social Work degree from University of California, Berkeley and is a licensed clinical social worker. She is chair of the Asians Committee, which is part of the San Francisco Department of Human Services Family Preservation and Support program, and is an advisory committee member of the Early Childhood Interagency Council of Starting Points at the Department of Children, Youth and Families. She previously served on the Mayor’s Task Force on Welfare Reform, the Greater Bay Area Family Resource Network and the San Francisco Domestic Violence Consortium. Ms. Ho graduated from Coro Foundation, City Focus Program in 1993. She won the Civic Unity Award from the Koshland Program/San Francisco Foundation in 1996. Under her leadership, APA received the Community Leadership Award in 1999 from the San Francisco Foundation.
